This program introduces young learners to the types, and differences between legal and illegal drugs. Students will learn that legal drugs, such as medicines are used to ease the symptoms of sickness, cure diseases, prevent and control illness. Viewers will come to understand that tobacco and alcohol are recreational drugs that are only legal for adults over the age of 21 to use, and that legal does not mean the drug is safe. In addition, the program discusses the short term and long-term, harmful effects of abusing tobacco and alcohol. The program then focuses on illegal drugs including marijuana, cocaine and heroin and how each can permanently damage your body and brain.
Learning Objectives:
After viewing this program, children will:
• understand the difference between legal and illegal drugs
• learn that medicines are drugs used control, prevent and cure illnesses
• Understand tobacco and alcohol are recreational drugs that are only legal for adults over the age of 21
• realize that legal does not mean it’s safe
• recognize the harmful effects of drug abuse
• learn that illegal drugs including marijuana, cocaine and heroin and how each can damage your body and brain.

Our Fulfillment Department will make every effort to ship out your order in a timely manner. Most items will be shipped out within 4 days of the order, but some items, such as promotional items, may take longer, with each item having its own lead-time. The carries that may be used are UPS (in most cases), USPS or FedEx. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, only physical addresses. UPS picks up deliveries Monday – Friday, excluding holidays. Shipping & Handling Costs: Shipping is automatically calculated at 10% of the full amount of the order being placed. Example: If the entire order total is $800, shipping is $80, so the total order with shipping would be $880. Tax: Out of state orders and non-profit organizations WILL NOT be charged sales tax.
